Hi tech Plus Welding Electrodes is a medium heavy coated, rutile type electrode, designed for all structural work in mild steel, especially for obtaining welds of radiographic quality such as desired on boiler plate. It also represents a ‘universal’ type for sheet metal welding.

OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS

  Ease of striking and restriking of the arc

 Very quiet, steady arc, accompanied by only a little spatter

  Very good deslagging, the slag in many cases lifts up by itself, often in lengths of 200 - 300 mm

 Clean & shining smooth and regular beads
